Problem

As a free magazine Sprout was experiencing trouble due to declining advertising revenues, so they asked XXS Amsterdam for help.

Insight

I delivered the insight how Sprout can evolve from a free magazine into a paid content platform, by bringing Silicon Valley’s entrepreneurial spirit to the Netherlands.

Idea

This insight inspired the creative directors to develop the pay-off: ‘The New-Boys Network’

Impact

Sprout’s community is gradually moving towards a freemium business model.
